For the second straight year, the flagship LaRosa's Pizzeria on Boudinot hosted the Holiday Hardwood Classic tipoff luncheon. Coaches and representatives from participating schools were joined by event organizers, LaRosa's leadership, and Freestore Foodbank representatives to discuss the 2nd annual edition of the HHC and enjoy a delicious catered lunch from LaRosa's.
A highlight of the event was a brief talk from LaRosa's founder Buddy LaRosa, widely respected throughout the community for his support of high school athletics. Holiday Hardwood Classic founder and chairman Rich Neumann also spoke to the representatives in attendance. The school representatives also received "bag tags" commemorating the event, where each player from each team received a personalized tag to attach on their duffel.
LaRosa's is the proud title sponsor of the Holiday Hardwood Classic and their support of Cincinnati-area high school sports is well-known and appreciated by all.
The Holiday Hardwood Classic features 11 games and 22 teams over two days at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University.
